"The first quintet on this album is incorrectly labled as "Op.20 n.3"; it is actually "Op.13 n.3" (G 279). The second quintet is mislabled as "Op. 37 n.2"; it is actually "Op 39 n.3" (G 339). The third quintet is mislabled as "Op. 50 n.2"; it is actually "Op 40 n.2" (G 341). The fourth quintet is labled correctly, somehow. The fifth quintet is mislabled as "Op. 13 n.5"; it is actually "Op 11 n.5" (G 275). There have been some discrepancies between the publisher's numbering and the composer's, which might characterize this situation. Anyway, the labeling is inaccurate (including the many online references to it). What else? This product page is mislabled as "String Quartets"; it should read "String Quintets"... Other than that, clarity is lost on some tracks, because this is an LP transfer from 1975."
