"Woooowa there, I have had this album now for two years and every time I listen to it always sounds so fresh. One of the most talented guys on the block with some very fresh and funky beats. Yes Mate! Well worth a listen."
Big soup and much, much more

"i got this album quite a while back when it was very rare in the states (for one reason or another, it was just never released here, i think it may have something to do with difficulties in sample clearing...), and i found it to be a perfect addition to the usual ho-hum-iness of the trip hop genre. the album stays jazzy, but offers a slew of devious and sometimes subliminal pranks throughout (vibert's trademark style). in addition to the original 'big soup' album, the japanese version offered here also contains vibert's best stand alone single 'do unto others', which was a precursor to the release of 'big soup'. the tracks of 'do unto others' are the most solid hip hop tracks i've ever heard, and mirror some of the works on vibert's 'tally ho' album as wagon christ (both 'do unto others' and 'tally ho' were tracks rejected by james lavelle for the release of 'big soup'). this is undoubtedly one of the greatest trip hop albums of all time and yet another link in the chain of vibert's childishly brilliant works."

Most underrated electronic album of 90s?

"If you like Luke Vibert, Wagon Christ, or any other Luke Vibert projects and you have never heard this album, YOU ARE MISSING OUT. Without a doubt the best Vibert album, and possibly one of the ten best electronic albums of the 90s. Every song stands on its own, or the album can be listened to straight through as a cohesive unit. Unfortunately this album is out of print, so if you can find it for less than 40 dollars BUY IT. If you're a vibert fan you won't regret it!!"

"luke vibert's sighly less intense album bring every "citizen of zanzibar" from the depths. catchy bass and spaced samples fill this must have anthem to the surroundings in modern day first world cities. almost ambient in its message it tells stories of angst and emancipation with beaty detail from a man that entertains through blatant convincing. watch out for tracks: 4,5,12 (1-13) aka: plug - the more dark drum n bass pseudonynm"
