CD Reviews

I am not a pea-brain

"This is the best album I own!!! I heard about Lullaby Baxter on NPR, and I thought I would try it out. From the song on NPR I expected a different "sound", but I am sooooo thoroughly delighted with this album. I don't consider myself a real music person, and generally prefer listening to NPR during the day to music. Due to the captivation of this album I missed an entire day of news. I made myself leave the CD home subsequent days. I especially love her use of the word "pea-brain", which is one of my favorite words, in several songs. Her lyrics are full of great words and ideas. I am going to tell everyone I know about Lullaby. I think my favorite song is Cardboard Armoured Car. I would encourage EVERYONE to get this album, it is fantastic! I am not exaggerating."
Lullabye Baxter is unique!

"Got my order filled promptly, no problem. I just love her two CDs. Easy listening and very clever words and arrangements! I'd like to know more about her, she is so unique. I highly recommend this CD to anyone, even children!"
Shorter please

"Is it just me or are CD's too long? never a fan of double albums in the days of vinyl I am even less excited that CD's routinely strectch into 2LP terriory. Lullaby Baxter is a fabulous singer/songwriter but I think at least four of the songs could have been culled."
