"This album is ideal for anyone into early music, or really anyone at all. Lute music is perfect for relaxing. If you don't have this album, you should definitely get it. For a trivial amount of money, you will receive hours of happiness."

"Before hearing this album, which I found by chance in my local library, I had never heard of Lutz Kirchof. He is a wonderful player who makes these recordings nearly 500 years old sound refreshingly modern and passionate! Listen, particulary to tracks 16 and 19 from the Milleran Manuscript, and you can visualize what people of that day were dancing to."
