"Over the course of the last 10 years, several companies have released so-called greatest hits collections of Luther Ingram. All those versions for some reason (cheapness I assume) were mastered from vinyl - and poorly mastered to the point you still heard the pops! This is the first domestic release mastered directly from the original tapes (and boy - you can hear the difference) and that includes informative liner notes from Chicago writer Bill Dahl! Kudos to Airline records whoever they are for putting out this gem!"
