There's Never Too Much Vandross.

"These are clearly classic Luther tunes from his great Epic Records years. The CD is a streamlined, updated, reprocessed, repackaged version of the double CD set some years back. I love the fact that one of my favorite tunes "Don't Want To Be A Fool" is included...I hate it that "The Rush" and the "If This World Were Mine" duet with the fabuloso Cheryl Lynn didn't make the cut...but nevermind that! This is still one of the best CDs, ever! I was pleased to have it in my collection, and I think the Amazon.com shopper will, too."
Words can't describe the voice.

"His voice was magical and the music brilliant. He will be so sorely missed. This album is fantastic for people who aren't so familiar with his music because there is a big scope of his recordings here. His voice is unlike anyone else's and there will never be another artist ever like Luther. I am so sorry that we will never hear new music from him again, but at least his voice goes on in these great albums."
A decent album of his music from 1981 to 1994/

"Why he has so many 'Greatest Hits' CDs out is beyond me. Many of these songs were on several of his previous hits CDs. The selections on here are rather decent however and are among some of his most popular songs of his career. My favorite songs on here are Never Too Much, Give Me The Reason, Power Of Love, & So Amazing. The rest of this CD is enjoyable too. However I have to complain about the excessive hits CDs that his record labels have put out over the years. Power Of Love, Here & Now, & Always & Forever are on so many CDs, both Greatest Hits as well as on various artists albums too. It diminishes the power that the songs on here have. I just wish that Luthers works weren't so excessivly marketed on so many hits CDs because to me the punch that some of his best works had back in their day has been weakened. I for one would have to say that it is best to just get all of Luther Vandross' parent albums but if you decide to get one of his hits collections I suggest getting this one. Leave the rest of his other hits CD alone except maybe his 1997 release with that contains The Best Things In Life Are Free, his 1992 duet with Janet Jackson & When You Call On Me/Baby That's When I Come Running because at least that album offers a rare song from Janet and the new(at the time) song. Avoid The Ultimate Luther Vandross collection that was released last year because it offers nothing new. Just more of the same songs that the previous collections offered."
This CD has all of Luther's best songs

"This CD has all of Luther's greatest hits. This album contains the best R and B music from one of the most popular male artists from the last 25 years. I love all the tracks on this album. My favorite song is Never Too Much. This was one of Luther's first hits in the early 80's. It is a classic R and B track that still gets me moving. Give Me The Reason is another one of my favorite dance jams. Here and Now is another highlight for me on this CD. This is one of the prettiest love songs I've ever heard. There's Nothing Better Than Love is another excellent song about how it feels to be in love with someone.
Luther can also sing about falling out of love with someone. I love his beautiful duet with Dionne Warwick entitled How Many Times Can We Say Goodbye. It is a bittersweet tune about the pain of breaking up with someone. A Home is Not A Home is a classic about how a home can be a strong symbol of love even when a couple is apart from each other. Luther's voice really moves the listener on this track. The music of Luther Vandross will live on forever."
A Voice Worth Singing About

"Luther Vandross is one of the few soul singers that really knows how to wow the ladies. His 1999 Greatest Hits Album, displays his natural talent with every way his music goes.Although it remains as a combination of his previous greatest hits albums, Best Of Volumes 1 & 2, the album still proves that he can pack a punch. The songs that are highlighted range from standards like Power Of Love / Love Power & Here And Now, to his dynamic duets with Dionne Warwick (How Many Times Can We Say Goodbye) and Gregory Hines (There's Nothing Better Than Love). While many radio stations still prefer Teen Idols and Rap music, it is nice to hear a seductive escape from the Top 40 mayhem. With that thought in mind, Luther Vandross remains as one of those few artists worth escaping to."
