Elysian is a collaboration of artists who come together to help tell Lynn s story and listeners will hear piano, violin, cello, flute, recorder, oboe, guitar, bass, and NS. Together they take the listener on a journey from Malaysia to the U.S., all the while accompanied by Elysian. Elysian is unique in that each composition is written in a different key, with each key representing a different mood, mode, temperament, and color. It is based on what Lynn has seen, what she has heard, what she has smelled, and what she has felt on her journey. Elysian was motivated by the healing and restoration to come, through the love of a Savior. I want to tell my story to the world to let them know where I ve been, where I am, and where I m going. The best way for me to do that is through music, so I composed and recorded Elysian .
