"These recording were NOT made in the 50's; according to AMG they are re-recordings of his best known music and it was recorded in the 70's. For me, that spoils the fun."

"I am Ronny Weiser. I produced this CD. It's true that these are all 1970's recordings, but what Chavoor says is incorrect. There are ONLY TWO re-recordings of his 1950's hits out of 20 songs.
The other 18 songs are new recordings which Mac never did in the 1950's.
If you like Rockabilly, you will love this CD!"
Very cool!

Rockabilly Uprising!

"This is very cool rockabilly record. One of the best I ever heard. Good vocal of Mac Curtis and a lot of slapping bass from another rockabilly legend Ray Campi. Wild and restless, contains two beautiful ballads "I'd run a mile to you" and "More love where that came from". Very authentic rockabilly."
