Beautiful music but why were the MONO versions released over

"Having own much of their Phase 4 London material from the 60's on vinyl I've made it a personal mission to collect whatever I can find on compact disc that may represent this golden era. This release looked and sounded promising but I am only disappointed that all the recordings on this CD are in mono. Their Phase 4 Stereo releases need to be heard to be appreciated. Upon listening to the harp and guitar in Phase 4 Stereo glory will guarantee your ears to fall off and your jaw drop to the floor. Still, these mono recordings will do until a label comes along and presents their full stereo recordings for present and future generations to appreciate. Btw, RIP Julia Cortes! Pura Vida from a fellow tico!"
