This party's mad and someone spiked the tea! Acclaimed Asheville duo Mad Tea Party return with Found A Reason, another round of twisted ukulele-tinged garage rock and Americana, a sound they lovingly refer to as 'ukeabilly.' All Music Guide refers to Mad Tea Party as 'Americana for the Modern Generation,' and The Charlotte Observer says, 'The next generation of wacky, Retro Carolina bands following in the footsteps of Squirrel Nut Zippers and Southern Culture On The Skids.' The band caused a stir when their last CD Big Top Soda Pop cracked the CMJ Top 200 in 2006. Look for more of the same this time as the band continues their breakneck tour schedule (150+ shows per year!) at festivals and clubs all over the U.S.
