CD ReviewsFrom an avid fan in New York 11/10/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "Madeline has conquered new reaches of her soul in this beautiful collection of ballads. Her selection of songs is so interesting in that they're different, unexpected, and her interpretation of them is gorgeous. Like a Lover brought me to tears. I play this CD frequently. I never tire of it. I just love her deep, round, resinating low voice as it wraps around those beautifully delivered lyrics. Tom Garvin absolutely knocked me out with his outstanding prowess. His voicings are so layered, sensuous and unpredictable. He's complex without being overbearing or busy. He's just stunning and together they're unbeatable. All I can say is let's hear more from these two consummate artists."
