"3.5 stars for this diamond in the rough. Madison played a very cliched though well executed style of glam-bam-thank-you-man hard rock with smooth vox by Goran Edman who went on to work with a bunch of acts (Yngwie, Brazen Abbot etc) and proper guitar solos.



Opening salvo Lay Down Your Arms is very indicative of what you get so I have to suggest listening to a sample of that track if you can. However it's fair to say that all the tracks here are very consistent within the bands operating zone. The couple of ballads are inevitable but hey, that's you your CD player has a skip button. As for distinct highlights they would have to be the third track Sneaker which certainly channes some of that famous Scandinavian heft and on a lighter note... well score yourself a few chuckles by taking a peek at the rear cover photo...



A pleasant album overall, riffs that for the most part do their job but little else, lots of middling songcraft and OK production. But it scores points for sheer youthful exuberance and a full bodied European feel to the song structures."
