"The beauty of this song lies in its lyrics, with the simple messages of universal acceptance and love. The remixes of NOTHING REALLY MATTERS are excellent, and Madonna provides the fans their money's worth, with this 9 track maxi single. Many of the songs are remixed by Club 69, which provide a variety of different remixes, slow ones, fast ones, but in the end they are all great remixes which will satisfy even the biggest Madonna fans. There's also the Vikram remix, which almost has a feeling of drum and bass to it. Overall though, this would be the most satisfying maxi single from Madonna's album RAY OF LIGHT, and its worth the price for these remixes!"

"Great remixes of Madonna's new single 'Nothing Really Matters.' Many people say there are too many Club 69 mixes on this disc, (6) but they are different varieties. Besides these 6 fabulous remixes, it also includes the rare and main concern, the Album Version plus mixes by Kruder & Dorfmeister (also known as 'K&D') and Talvin Singh Vikram.
Here is the full tracklisting and some comments:
01 4.27 Album Version - Great song to be released for a single
02 7.51 Club 69 Vocal Club Mix - Great mix of an already great song
03 8.19 Club 69 Future Mix - An excellent and popular Club 69 mix
04 8.00 Club 69 Phunk Mix - Sounds like the Future Mix
05 10.35 Club 69 Speed Mix - The best mix on the whole CD!! (I'm listening to it now, as I write!!)
06 11.10 Kruder & Dorfmeister Mix - Excellent mix. Some good & new sounds in this mix
07 7.43 Vikram Mix - Great!! A really good mix full of weird sounds!!
08 5.48 Club 69 Future Dub - Back to Peter Rauhofer!! Just a dub of the Future Mix
09 3.45 Club 69 Radio Mix - A radio friendly mix. Fab!!
As well as this, I also reccomend the fabulous US Maxi's for Music and Don't Tell Me!!"

"As a DJ I'd have to say this is an essental vinyl/CD to have in your collection...These are some of the best remixes I've ever heard. I really love the Club69 Vocal Club Mix where most of the other Club69 remixes try to carry on the Vocal Mix....the edit's are phenominal and the beats are infectious. I think anyone who love remixes especially madonna remixes should buy this single."
Cool,Unusual Song Brings Variety of Mixes

"Out of all Madonna's lauded work on "Ray of Light", "Nothing Really Matters" stands out as being the most different. The lyrics are like wise oriental proverbs speaking about mutual adoration and the meaningless quality of material things. What a revelation! What a change from someone who once was(and still is) called the material girl! The music itself is a disco-type bassine compouded with a club 1-2-3-4 beat. Exotic, catchy sound efx highlight the track. The remixes offer us an enjoyable listening experience. Club 69 did a good job handeling the role of predictable club mixer, providing us with a nice variety of mixes(6-tracks on maxi single). Kruder and Dorfmeister added a more trancey, acid jazz mood to this maxi-single with their remix. Finally, Talvin Singh provides a beautiful reworking with an unusual dance/trance mix. Your first listen to Singh's remix(called "Vikram Remix",found on track 7) will leave you somewhat confused, trying to make sense of these odd sounds. But further openminded listens will heighten your appreciation of the emotional weight of this mix. All in all, these remixes offer a variety of interpretations of this cool song, without betraying it's overall meaningful soul. Good job Madonna and mixers!!!"
Madonna's best maxi single since BEDTIME STORY!

"Finally, the USA gets the better end of the deal! The maxi includes 6 Club 69 remixes (four too many, if you ask me) and most importantly, the heavenly Vikram Mix and Kruder and Dorfmeister's remix. Both tracks are worth the buy alone, especially if you're into the drum-n-bass, trip-hoppy sound. A slammin' maxi, definitely worth the addition to your Madonna collection."
