One of her best kept secrets and best maxi-singles

"Usually Madonna's maxi-singles are full of blah dance beats, but this one is a rare exception. The song itself is great and not one that is often talked about since the other new (at the time) song from the album this is taken from got much more attention for its video since it was the first ever to be banded by Mtv. It was, of course, Justify My Love. This song is even better and full of life and energy that many later Madonna tracks lack. It's even borderline soulful. A great song with great mixes. I recommend it highgly."
Awesome Underrated Song I highly Recommend To Madge Fans!!

"This is one of Madonnas' best underrated songs from The Immaculate Collection. Too bad it was never performed live or a video was never made. It's talks about the power of love and how life is so demanding which is so very true, fascism, and other good messages. Hopefully she will sing this when she tours again!! The remixes are all awesome and you could work out to them really well or dance to them on the dance floor. The last remix starts a little like "Open Your Heart" its really great.

People Are Insane!

"This single isn't that great. The original version is excellent (appearing here as the "Single Mix") but the other versions are average. They are inspired but are nothing amazing, or worth a five star rating. Madonna without a doubt has some of the most rabid, devoted fans in the world if they are saying all these great things about this single. Here's a breakdown (most of the mixes are called "Vocals" which implies a cappella, but they obviously are not): 1) "Single Mix" -- Same as the album version as far as I can tell.2) "Titanic Vocal" -- An extended version of the original with some cool new stuff thrown in.3) "Houseboat Vocal" -- Completely remixed, nothing great tho. The music sounds like a compilation of all the outtakes from other remixes that never got released.4) "Lifeboat Vocal" -- Not too bad. Borrows a few elements from the above track. Seems to have the same bass line as "Vogue," only running backwards.5) "S.O.S. Mix" -- Again, borrows from track 3. Again, nothing great.Unlike the single that preceeded it, "Justify My Love," whose remixes really do deserve 5 stars, this does not. Anyone looking at this probably is one of those rabid Madonna fans that I talked about earlier, since everyone else on the planet has long forgotten this song, so sure, buy this. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it."
Rescue Me........

"Well, I am a big Madonna fan, and I enjoy the song Rescue Me, on The Immaculate Collection. But the song bores me on the single, because all the remixes sound the same. They all have a very fast and sometimes to quick pace, so you get tired of listening to it easily. If you like to collect singles, and you love Madonna you will enjoy this single, but if you don't buy The Immaculate Collection, you get this great song, and her best stuff of the 80's, Vogue, and Justify My Love. I especially like that this is a compact maxi single, which means its a nice soft, book-like cover, instead of todays... ugly plastic covers."

"It seems that with time, Rescue Me has been all but forgotten. Madonna never performed it live, and most people remember the "other" new song from the Immaculate Collection, Justify My Love. This single has at least two or three really good remixes. This remix style lies somewhere between the simple "extended" mix style of her earlier single, and the radically altered style of later singles.Rescue Me is a great Madonna song, and the remixes do it justice."
