"Mae Robertson is a superb recording artist whose songs are immersed in themes of love, fear and inspiration. Stone By Stone is her latest release and can best be summed up as a series of contemporary and traditional folk song lullabies for grown-ups. Mae Robertson's voice is honey gold and showcases her gift for song writing, as well as the song writing talents of Jennifer Warnes, Janis Ian, and John Gorka. "This is the greatest album. I now own all four of Mae Robertson's CDs and I love them all. But, this one is very special. Very upbeat and positive. The songs really made me think and I love that. The musicians are great. I recognize alot of these names. I would say buy this one for sure!"

"I have all of Mae Robertson's CDs and love them all. But, I have been waiting for her to record one that was not aimed at "family" listening, and here it is. She records her own songs for the first time as well as a few fantastic covers. She is a great writer and a great interpreter. I am very impressed with this CD AND with the lineup of musicians! Super-Great!"
