"I saw this band at a small club in Tucson, Az with some friends and bought the CD right then and there. I always thought that they sounded a lot like early Lenny Kravitz (in fact, I used to think that he might have been the lead singer). Listen to this disc for beginning to end and just feel the vibe! Anyway, I had this CD stolen from my car some 6-8 years ago and haven't been able to find it since--now it's here. I'm gonna purchase it as soon as I finish this review. Cool! Cool! Cool! I wish they wouldn't have broke up because this was a great band! Awesome music!"

"I just received the CD that I ordered to replace the album (!) I bought 13 years ago. I'm listening to it as I type, and find that I'm still baffled. How this group missed the boat as the "Next Big Thing" when this remarkable cd/album was released is beyond me.Maybe it's because the fans of lead singer, Rob (or Robi) Rosa, were stymied by this wild detour from the music they'd gotten from him during his bubblegum pop days as the lead singer of Menudo.
Or maybe it's because the only single released by them (that I knew of) was "It's a Sin", which is probably the weakest song on here. Although, don't get me wrong-it's still remarkably catchy and in fact was what prompted me to try them out in the first place. But when I moved on to the rest of the songs, like the slow and bluesy "One in Six" or the ethereal "Between Fear & Desire", I was hooked, and have been for over a decade. This release covers it all-funk, rock, and soul-and is still fresh after all these years. Every song is a gem. There's not a song on here that I feel the need to skip, even after years of listening to them. It definitely holds its own against more modern releases by the likes of Maroon 5, Los Lonely Boys and Lenny Kravitz. So if you happen to run across this CD (or album) in your search for new music, BUY IT!"

"I just ordered my 4th, or, 5th copy of this CD.
(I wore the others out with constant play and rotation in my system(s).
I feel as though this project was some kind of gift to humanity, as no other project came out so powerfully, just to disappear shortly thereafter.
I sat on the tour`bus`with these guys in 1990 after a show in Austin Texas, (The Backroom), before I hit the stage, and, I felt as if it was surreal, twilight Zone-ish, these guys were amazing.
I had no idea that this would be their first, and, final Effort.
I guess after this level of perfection, there really is nothing else for these men to say as a group.
An amazing array of talent, and, depth of feeling.
A world class CD project, too bad for us that they are gone, maybe I should record a tribute to these guys, note, for note, from a bluesman who tells the truth, and, knows true pain when he hears it.
This is the real deal, no doubt.

"Disregard the negative drivel from other folks regarding this cd. Powerful lyrics. Solid FUNK! And, the guitar and percussion elements are second to none. Every time I listen to this cd I am startled at the fact that this band didn't do more.
