"I HAVE WEST SIDE SOUL AND ITS A CLASSIC SO I HEARD RECORDING FROM THE "LATE GREAT MAGIC SAM" AND HAD TO GET IT. THE REVIEW FROM EDITOR I BELIEVE IS MISTAKEN REGARDING HIS WORDS "OBTRUSIVE" ORGAN. IT HAS THE SAME SOUND AS THE ANIMALS HAD WITH ORGAN AND I LOVE IT. I WOULD USE THE WORD ENHANCE NOT OBTRUSIVE. MATTER OF TASTE PERHAPS BUT SAM NEVER SOUNDED BETTER."

"It's easy to review most offerings...."I loved it"..."The best ever"..."Buy this now"... It's all a matter of opinion, right? For some this is a poor quality recording of the traditional 12-bar Chicago blues sound...Thing is; What I hear is true MAGIC. This will touch you. Sam expresses the blues in an understated, joyous, casual, personal manner that can't be easily desribed. If you've heard this you know what I mean. Flat mastering and low average sound quality....but there simply are no adjectives to describe what this will give you, over and over again. If you pass it by you miss an encounter beyond words. Far beyond..."
