"Based on the wonderful series by Mary Pope-Osborne, this CD captures the magic of the books and then some! The songs are sophisticated enough for adults to enjoy (believe me, you'll be listening to them again and again and again - my son has then entire CD memorized!) and the music is captivating. Definitely not your typical "kid's show". I went to mthmusical.com to learn more about this show because I heard that it was going on tour and my son is so excited to see it ... it doesn't have cities and dates yet, but I definitely plan on checking back because this is not a show I want to miss. My son loves "the guard song" and I love a really sweet duet between Jack and Annie called, "What Would I Do Without You". It's worth the price of the CD alone! Happy Listening!"
My Granddaughter was entranced!

"I purchased The Magic Treehouse Musical for my seven year old granddaughter who enjoys listening to audiobooks and music while we travel. She was thrilled with the product and eager to share this time with her grandmother. My only complaint is that I was having to turn the volumn up and down. At times the voices were so faint they were inaudible-to be followed by a song which blasted the eardrums. This proved to be a good way to introduce my granddaughter to musicals."
Great kids musical

"My 7 and 4 year old love this CD. We've had it about 3 weeks and it's all they listen to. They have the songs memorized. My 7 year old and I are going to see the Musical this weekend. Should be great since we already enjoy the music. Hope they turn more of the books in to musicals. We'd would buy them for sure."
Kid loved the show. . .

"I took my daughter to see the show live about a month ago and she's STILL singing some of the songs. She loves the MTH books and couldn't get enough of the play. That said, as an adult viewer it's just not the best stage show I've ever seen and some of the songs are a little hard to listen to. I applaud the Osbornes for providing their public with a way to be part of Jack and Annie's world and can truly say that my daughter loved the show, but I hope if they do this again that Mary Pope Osborne writes more of the script and that they work with a different composer."

"This is a great CD. My children (8 and 6) love the Magic Treehouse books, and this is a great alternative to movies in the car on trips. Very well done, and well worth the purchase!"
