"This is a nice overlook about the singers's earlier important recordings for the Decca and Apollo label, even the first songs for the Columbia Records.

Sound is in common not bad until it comes to the 'Columbia-Era' the not digital reissued songs 'You'll never walk alone'and 'Joshua fit the battle of Jericho'. You can hear how the restaured songs differ from the original sound recordings if you had heard them before, but anyway a nice collection.

A nice made booklet with discographical information and photos is included so a precious project for lovers of the subject."
