""Best of hero" is a strange English title. Mai Kuraki often uses this kind of strange English expression in her song. But it's not the evidence of her poor ability in English, but her unique sense for both languages, English and Japanese. She writes almost all lyrics of her songs. It is indeed proof of her talent. Then she uses such strange English. But I don't mind. I call her strange English "Mainglish" with love.
Well, this song is maybe the best one among the songs recently released by her. It is lucky for her that this song is set for a theme song of popular TV drama "Gachi Baka!" that is an enthusiastic story about a high school teacher and his students. So many Japanese watches the drama for 3 months.
In this song, though Mai's vocal is sometimes artificial, she sings cheerfully as if she is one of the students of "Gachi Baka!". And this song is suitable for graduation. I hope many students sing this song at their own graduation."
