"I recently saw Makana live in a very small setting, and I have to say, I haven't seen a guitarist this talented in a long time. He has trained with the master slack-key guitarists, many of whom are no longer with us, and this young artist is carrying on this unique tradition. His stuff is beautiful and original--you shouldn't miss it!"
