Nothing astonishing, but entertaining

"Despite the packaging riddled with errors, this is a nice outing by Waldron and friends. These tracks were recorded in 1959 (not 1957 as the album indicates) and Waldron is joined by Jackie McLean on here. The two highlights are Waldron originals, i.e. "Catwalk" and "Minor Pulsation." McLean also lends some mean sounds to the session. (Recommended)
