"This was recorded in Feb. 1965 in Detroit. M/X's house had been bombed the night before by his former comrades and the FBI had been agitating his dispute with the NOI. All of this, and his quest for Africans and African-Americans to form a united front, had been wearing M/X down and it shows in one of his last recorded messages. However, it's a profile in courage, as M/X makes it clear that all of these opposing forces will not stop him or his mission. He also says a lot of good things about the need for better self-esteem among African-Americans that need to be heard and understood today. It's really sad when you consider that he was killed less than ten days after this. Shows how much he had to offer then-and now. Get it."
