"I love this CD! The Mamas and the Papas were such talented individual artists and this CD shows just how much work was put into their careers. Although this CD misses a lot of the greatest by the Big Three and the Mugwumps that is only available on the Big Three cd and Mugwumps only vinyl album, it does contain unreleased tracks that you can't even get on a record! I recommend this to any M&P fan or anyone who likes folk music. It is GREAT!"

"My reaction falls between the two extremes here -- I enjoyed it and have enjoyed re-listening to the CD several times. Much is derivative (like the wonderful Brothers-Four style "The Man Who Wouldn't Sing Along with Mitch") Very interesting to hear them before they hit the right material and format. And enjoyable on its own."
