Armed with their own original material and shuffling pop reggae beats, Maná prove they are every bit as good as their source of inspiration, not just on record but also on stage. They have enough thematic twists of their own to avoid any criticism as a "knock off" act, and have built a following that marks them as the heirs apparent to Selena's pop crown. "These guys are great live. I've been to 2 of their shows on different tours and in different countries, and the sound is incredible. Had this been an english-singing rock and roll band, this CD would be among the classics like Frampton Comes Alive and The Song Remains the Same. The way the fans respond to the songs just gives this CD such a great feeling to it. It reminds me of the way fans cheer at a Pink Floyd Concert the second the realize "Wish You Were Here" is beginning. And not to mention the songs are great songs. So don't let the language barrier get in the way. Get this CD now!, and the sample music here on Amazon does not do the disc justice. try it out."

"The voice and rhythm of this band can compare itself to the famous Peter Frampton Alive. Not only does this band employs the Caribbean sounds of marimbas and its incomparable rhythm it actually deploys the purity of soft rock with the hard rock instruments making an extreme pleasurable listening experience. Every elevator should carry this album in their repertoire. I am sure would spend hours going up and down any building."

"If you have never seen Mana live in concert (and by God, what are you waiting for???), this is a great example of what to expect. I have been fortunate enough to have seen them a few times, and Spanish or English, it doesn't matter, these guys are awesome. The most incredible thing about Mana is that all four of these guys, Fher, Alex, Juan & Sergio are masters of their respective instruments (Fher with his lyrics). You just don't see that anymore in rock music today. Alex is THE most incredible drummer out there today, hands down. Get this CD and enjoy !!!"

"I just saw Mana live last week, and believe me they still got the magic touch. There music is made for everyone, young and old, hispanics and americans. They make anyone who sees them live get up, dance, sing, and even scream. They are the kings of Rock in Spanish and I'm sure in the future they'll be a great rock band here too."

"I admire Maná for having put moving and meaningful lyrics to such attractive accompaniment. Maná is my favorite band of all time, and I have spent the past 5 years with this CD and others of Maná, listening to them nearly once per week since I bought them in September, 2000."
