Levere | syracuse, New York United States | 10/24/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "This recording is masterful from beginning to end, starting from the funky Troisix to the melancholy Miro Vibro. In between you have the atmospheric Les Pentocles and the sterling La Noce, and the new agey Celebration. I've listened to this recording for years and am still stunned by its superb compositions. The 1 star reviews most likely refer to the 'Witness Rock' bootleg put out 3 or 4 years ago; this Progquebec reissue (and bonus tracks not listed by Amazon, about 3, from 'Composite') is legit, as far as I know. Additional worthwhile tracks are on here - All are worthwhile (1 bonus track is live version of a track already on orig. Libre Service rel.) Check out 'Ni Vent...' also; excellent bonus track 'Un Certain Regard' from Composite incl. therein." |
