"2-disc set in archaic thick jewel case, published in the EU in 2000, serial# 724357603508.This compilation features tracks from 10 singles (A and B sides) up to 1966 (before the "Chapter Three" or "Earth Band" eras). Most recordings are in mono.No surprises on this thing, and the even the basic Manfred Mann fan surely has all this stuff. The packaging is boring(no booklet, no credits), total playing time is 51 minutes.The bonus CD-ROM contains a very basic bio, the discography is VERY short and seriously incomplete for the real collector: it lists a few compilation albums from the 90's but omits interesting ones like "At Abbey Road Studios". The photo gallery has 5 pictures (really!). The CD-ROM also contains a screen saver. All this could have been appended to the regular disc.Overall, a lazy job from EMI. You're better off buying "The Singles Plus" album, which contains the same material plus 5 extra tracks. Unless you're a serious collector, pass on this one."
