"Roll over is a great cd on many levels. The lyrics are even brilliant. They are arty and political but at the same time very accessible and emotional. Then there is the composition of the songs. Some songs twist and turn dramatically, perfectly in tune with the vocals. Other compositions stay one course, and still manage to surprise the listener by linking up with the lyrics. It's really something to hear.Instruments used in Rollover, just to give you an idea: Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, Trombone, Piano, Violin, Viola, and maybe one or two more. The singer is laid back and very charismatic, if a bit nasaly. He never screams for attention or oversteps his range. He just makes his music, and he's good.Sometimes Roll over is a little self indulgent, but not that much considering it's an art-rock album. If you would like some different, beautiful music you can't go wrong with Roll over."
Sheer joyful alternative folk

"The first time I heard Manishevitz I was hit by a well-being feel. Some music touches you in a soft spot, and I was captured immidiately. The melodystructures, rythms, orchestration is not all new and refreshing, but at the same time they are. Manishevitz have their own unique approach. This is an album to enjoy for years to come. Quality music never goes out of style, and I know for certain that I will take this out of the shelf many more times...."
