"IM only 13 but manowar has to be one of my favorite metal band ever. The sound is way more agreesive and loud than the studio albums and features all the classics.SO if you like metal(nu metal dose not count) or rock in general you have to pick this up."

"For starters I am a huge Manowar fan and I hate having to do this, but true metal fans would like to hear this instead of listening to someone lie for the sake of their band. Do not purchase this CD if you are planning on listening to Eric Adams's beautiful voice because you will not hear it on 95% of the songs. It's a shame but Manowar's pursuit of the loudest metal on Earth has backfired on this live album. The music is so loud (which we all like as Manowar fans) that it completely drowns out the vocals... Maybe it was a error in the recording or something like that but nevertheless I didn't care for the album. I enjoy lyrics and vocals the most when I am listening to music. I have seen Manowar 3 times now and they are still my favorite band, so don't get the idea that I am bashing them because I would never do that...Vsniper@aol.com"
If you haven't seen them live . . .

"Between 1996 and 2002 I've seen Manowar live eight times, all in small clubs. Imagine that, German fans! They are without a doubt the loudest, most powerful and best sounding live band I've ever seen (and I've seen Metallica before they cut their hair). The album is a true testament to their power. When I got it (an import back in 1997) I brought it home and turned up my stereo as loud as the speakers could handle, sat back and let the magic flow over me. I was transported back to a gig, and it was perfect.
This Cd has most of Manowar's best known tracks, runs almost two hours, and will leave your jaw hanging. Just remember, always play Manowar as loud as it can be, and buy the companion CD, Hell On Stage Live, as it contains some of the lesser known Manowar epics, and it actually sounds better than this one, if that can be believed. This is the definition of Heavy Metal."
Other bands play, Manowar kills!

"There's not really too much to be said about Manowar in a live setting. If you already know their music, simply imagine those great power metal anthems with the volume turned up to 11 and thousands of people at a time singing the cheesy metal lyrics. If you don't already know their music, well then get to steppin'! Go back and purchase all their studio albums. That's right, I said ALL of them, learn the songs and THEN come back here and listen to the classics in all their live glory. Hearing stuff like "Manowar," "Kings of Metal," "Hail and Kill," "Fighting the World," and so many others just rules it. And for me, it was a real bonus, because I DON'T have all the studio albums (I know, hypocrite), so hearing songs like "Spirit Horse of the Cherokee" for the first time was fantastic. BTW, "Spirit..." is one of the strongest tunes on the first disc.So all in all, this is a great representation of one of metal's all-time classic bands in a live setting. You can really tell they get off on their status as metal warriors and in the way they interact with the fans. Great live album. Get it."
