Authentically Mantovani!

"This British CD re-releases tracks from Mantovani's most popular selling recordings, mostly from the sixties and early seventies. It was good to hear the originals on CD. Tracks that have not been released for some time include What a Wonderful World, from the Memories album of 1968; Almost There, from The Mantovani Touch, the Theme from Love Story taken from the 1971 double album entitled From Monty, With Love, and Unchained Melody (known now as the theme from the movie "Ghost") which was recorded in the late fifties and appeared on Film Encores Vol. 1 which held on to the top of the billboard charts for several years. And let's not overlook the Theme from Exodus which brought Mantovani another gold record award for the 1961 album first entitled, Great Theme Music. The producers should be commended for bringing back the Orchestra's best works on CD, and hopefully, because the discography is vast, there will be more to come."
