"Wow. If you aren't familiar with Mozart's piano sonatas, all I can say is listen to my favorite recording of the piano sonatas on the instrument Mozart wrote them for (fortepiano) by Anthony Newman.
After that, you will appreciate what Barrueco has done here. The dynamics (so essential to proper Mozart performance), and let's not forget- the NOTES! They are there, or at least feel like all the notes are there, although this cannot be possible- Mozart used too much of the piano for it to all lay on the guitar.
Nevertheless, as familiar as I am with the piano sonatas, they lacked nothing.
I usually hate to hear classical guitarists try too hard to emulate the piano. Here, the music speaks on the guitar in such a wonderful way.
Bravo!"
