29 tracks featuring Chet Atkins, Bela Fleck, Carry Coryell, Buddy Emmons, and more! Marcel Dadi was a French guitarist known for his country & western music, and a personal friend of country star Chet Atkins. With Dadi's death in a 1996 plane crash, the world lost one of its premier fingerstyle guitarists. Inspired by Doc Watson, Merle Travis, and Chet Atkins, Dadi crafted a flat-picking style all his own. Further inspired by the music of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan, he continued to expand his musical vision. Dadi was inducted into Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame in 1996. During his career he released nearly twenty albums and was the organizer of the European equivalent of Nashville's Chet Atkins Appreciation Society.
