"Indeed this Marcos recording is a very refreshing, relaxing CD full of moments to unwind by. I must suggest a recording however, that introduced me to Marcos in 1989. The recording is by a little known band called Zil, the CD being self titled. If Marcos is for sipping coffee on a Sunday morning, then Zil is for sipping wine on a warm Saturday evening with friends. Marcos is on keyboards, but is supported by an excellent cast of musicians from Brazil that include guitars, percussion, sax, and Brazilian vocals. The result is at once beautiful and upbeat, romantic but energetic, worldly yet pop accessible. Gorgeous melodies combine with excellent solos and intoxicating vocalizations. If you can find Zil on Amazon or anywhere else, and you like Marcos Ariel, buy it."

"Sunday mornings are my special time of the week, where I listen to jazz, and relax with my coffee. I have a new CD for my Sunday mornings now. I have been listening to this CD at least once a day, even at work I listen to it, but can't get enough. It simply has a magical effect on your heart and soul. And I have a new favorite artist: Marcos Ariel."
