"This record, while a staple of most bargain bins, and closeout cd sales, is by far one of the best of roberts career. The piano work on carolina shout is unbeleivable, and is a clear demonstration of his mastery of stride piano playing. Additionally if i remember correctly he recorded this record when he was only 19, and is in many ways far beyond the ability of many of his own contemporaries.

The record is great through and through, though my personal favorite "in a southern sense", the last track, is definetly a great show of roberts' talent and abilities."
