"This is the one of the largest edition projects with recordings by Maria Callas. A very handsome, very large and very heavy box with a separate book by Jürgen Kesting, in itself very interesting and with many unseen photos. The sound is cleaned and overall very good. I think this whole project is a marvel. One very important thing: It should be 27, not 26 discs. The Tosca disc has been left out by mistake. I wrote to www.membran.net and 2 days later the missing disc arrived by air mail. It contains over 73 minutes of Tosca recordings from Buenos Aires and (mostly) the famous de Sabata recording."
