Synopsis

Album Description
A two disc collection from Marilyn Manson and The Spooky Kids. These rare, legendary recordings, were originally made in 1991 and 1992. This early version of Manson's band recorded Disc One under the supervision of Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails, and they would become the first signings to his own record label. The concert on Disc Two was recorded in Florida in 1991 and features the earliest version of 'My Monkey', a track Manson still includes in his set list to this day. Entertain Me. 2008.

CD Reviews

Could've been better

(2 out of 5 stars)

"This "White Trash" box set really doesn't have anything new to offer to hardcore Manson fans. The content in disk one are the same tracks you will find on their "Birth of the Antichrist" CD (which is renamed "My Monkey" for the box set). The second disk is the same situation, the content on this disk are the same tracks you would find on their live CD called "Live" (which is renamed "Cyclopse Live" for the box set) plus the same flaws on the "Live" CD are in the second disk as well, which some of the songs don't match the order of the track listing. What really hurts this set is the fact that nothing in this set brings anything new to Manson fans and the poor sound quality isn't improved. This set could've been better if there was rare and unreleased material from the Marilyn Manson and the spooky kids era instesd of the same stuff all over again. I recomend getting Manson's "Lunch Boxes & Choklit Cows" CD over this box set."
