"I wouldn't call myself a big fan of Marilyn Manson, but I listen to them relatively often, and this is the band's best album.
As rollingstone put it, it's an album that even well adjusted adults might appreciate. It contains the bands most complex music, as well as Manson's best, most personal lyrics.
It contains several classic Manson songs, including Great Big White World, The Dope Show, The Speed of Pain, I don't like the drugs (but the drugs like me) and my favorite Manson song, Coma White.
I played a lot of these songs for my friend who's very against Marilyn Manson, without telling him who it was, and he asked me to burn the album for him, and when he found out it was Marilyn Manson he said "well, now I'm a fan." It deserves to be listened to."

"I grew up int the hay day of Manson. The first time I heard ANTICHRIST I was blown away by the lyrics and music collaboration. On this album he stepped it up a notch, the music is tamer than on ANTICHRIST. I feel personally that this is Manson's led zeppelin 3! I have had this album on cassette since it came out, thought it was time to upgrade. The tape was wearing out. Almost every song is amazing on it, lyrically and musically. I put it at the top of MANSON'S albums. A must have for any Manson fan!!"
