"I am NOT a Marilyn Manson fan. Never have been, never will be. But I found this single and since I loved the original (am I even old enough to remember it?!), so I bought it on the off-chance. And despite not being a Marilyn Manson fan, I found myself really enjoying this version! And I knew all the words, and I can be sitting listening to it, nodding my head along with the beat! Not quite head banging, cos my hair would go everywhere! Marilyn Manson didn't try to make it better than the original, but by not trying, he succeeded. Some singers/bands cover a song, and try to outdo the original, which makes you hate both versions. But he succeeded, and made a great version. He's got a surprisingly good voice, and it kinda made this more original. He's made the song his own, and while most bands who do covers are remembered for being bad, Marilyn Manson doesn't go into that category.Despite the fact I like this song, I don't think I'll be converting to a Marilyn Manson fan JUST yet. If he did some songs, which you wouldn't expect him to sing, then yeah sure. But I still don't like the guy. Just his voice. And his tattoos."
