"Though it is technically a collection of demos for a record that was never fully completed, Zima Junction really sounds like a finished product of astonishing quality. There is so much joy, mystery, and subtle humor in these songs, that when you hear them for the first time you'll regret not yet being able to sing along. Mark's finest work was undoubtedly recorded with the Chameleons back in the eighties. But though every member of that band made an essential contribution to the magic, Zima Junction proves that Mark was clearly the songwriting genius of the group. I think if I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd give all the money to this man so that he could record ten more albums as beautiful and brilliant as this one."
