"The Title might be NrG and maybe Mark Farner has to call his band something other than Grand Funk Railroad BUT there is no mistaking what is on this CD. It is GRAND FUNK !!! This is no Vegas type lounge act pumping out greatest hits. This is a trip back in time that only Mark Farner can be your tour guide for!
This is as close as you can get to going back to 1970 and getting blasted by the 3 piece Grand Funk that carved it's place in rock history. Farner's band rocks! FARNER IS GRAND FUNK!!!"

"This recording, done in Chicago and Milwaukee in March of this year, is excellent. Mark, Lawrence and Hubert never miss a beat here, and the music on this CD is like having a seat at one of Mark's shows. Some of the best songs included here are Into the Sun, Aimless Lady, Inside Looking Out, and of course I'm Your Captain/Closer to Home. Even if you don't know who Mark Farner is, this is a great introduction to his music. Crank this one up, and rattle your windows and shake your floors. Well worth it!"
