This is a CD full of Great songs. If you like songs structured in the traditional sense...i.e. great flowing melodies that will leave you with tunes in your head performed by prodigious, gifted muscicians, then chances are you will love this CD. It was created in a special environment on top of a Montessori School, where the artist's studio is located. This record is full of sincere music and good vibes with excellent performances and recordings of all the musicians. It is rare today to find this many good songs on a CD. It was built to last. The reviews have compared Mark Galasso to John Lennon, David Bowie and Prince with respect to groove and musicianship. This CD in particular will remind you of the Beatles without the listener quite knowing why. This is probably one of the best CD's in terms of songwriting, to come out of Deep South Louisiana. However, the songs are not traditional Louisiana music. These songs are fresh and original and were written by an award winning songwriter who's work has been recognized internationally.
