Very good deep house offering

"More like 4.5 stars. So deep house has been commodified to the point that it's often no longer fun. I love naked music as much as the next guy, but some of their offerings are a bit bland, don't you think? This guy gets it though. Deep house is not about throwing a diva over 120 bpm, adding production values, and calling it a day. It's about real, gods-honest, genuine soul. And funk. Think DJ Deep, among others. Listen to "CJs Theme" and tell me Mr. Wyatt aint funky. nia please."
OK deep house. Not that great.

"Good vocal deep house.
Sweet basslines, funk, soul, and jazz (great saxophone, strings, and flutes) make of this CD an attractive one, depending on your music taste. The vocals in my opinion are sometimes quite repetitive and loud, that's why I gave this one 3 stars and not 4.
The first part of the CD is good, the second part can get quite boring.
I would put more emphasis on the bass and less on the vocals, but that is just my music taste when it comes to deep house. I like chilled deep house, but this one really doesn't chill you out. Not bad, just not as good as some other deep house gems out there."
