Since then, however, he has grown into a true standout in the virtuoso guitar genre. On GYPSY Taylor takes his wonderful Django Reinhardt inspired group on a trip the melodies one might expect to hear out in the fields where the gypsies play. The cd is mix of live and studio tracks and one get a true sense that Taylor's fingerwork is simply stunning-- particulalry on the beautiful and festive medley of songs on the first track.
