"
These are two albums that Marty made in the 60's in what was his golden period. There's no doubt that his western songs are the most popular with listeners around the world, but this guy could sing anything. The first album mixes up country and pop and has some great versions of 'Hurt', 'Are You Sincere', 'To each His Own', 'To Think You've Chosen Me', 'I Can't Help It' plus a great title tune 'Just A Little Sentimental.' The second album finds Marty in a more late night style, but while the songs are not standards they are of the highest standard and sung impeccably by Marty. The thing that mystifies me is how such a great singer remains comparatively underrated as listening to Marty's warm, soulful vocals is one of life's great pleasures."
