"this is a great c.d.! johnson had 9 songs chart the top 100, from 1959 to 1961, all of them are here, plus 5 b-sides.[there were total 7 b-sides] this is a great set of his best recordings. thers not much to be found of his 3 year singing career. but in that time he had some good tunes. most notably- 'i love the way you love' #9, in 1960; 'you got what it takes' #10 in 1959; and '[you've got to]move two mountains' #20 in 1960. original recordings, label is United Artists, [emi legends of rhythm & blues series] with 6 page booklet giving history and his discography. Marv Johnson is recognized as a co-creator of the Motown sound with Berry Gordy."
