Great songs; great musicianship

"Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch and John Farrar did remarkably well with their close harmony group. You can tell this album was originally released in 1971 by the subject matter, but the music is remarkable. With Brian Bennett here playing drums, this might as well be a Shadows vocal album (and there's nothing wrong with that!). Tracks range from the driving "Black Eyes" and "Simplify Your Head" to the lilting, melodic "Tiny Robin" and "Thank Heavens I've Got You" Perhaps a compilation album would be a better buy than this for someone not familiar with the group, but you won't regret buying any work by Marvin, Welch & Farrar"
