Very Well Rounded Motown Collection From Mary Wells

"I like this compilation a whole lot! In addition to the hits there are a couple of album tracks and B-sides. Included are the flips Old Love (Let's Try It Again), Operator, Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right along with the following album tracks Shop Around (From Bye, Bye Baby) Goodbye And Good Luck , When I'm Gone and the shorter version of One Block From Heaven (Vintage Stock) a wonderful song scheduled for release but withdrawn Whisper, You Love Me Boy (Sings My Guy). Also included are both sides of M-1057 Once Upon A Time/What's The Matter With You Baby with Marvin Gaye. Mary had a short but sweet career at Motown. Just listen to these tracks and they sound just as fresh as they did back then. You can also buy the Defintive Collection from U.S. Motown it's almost as good as this one. Spectrum always seems to do a better job with Motown releases than Motown U.S. They seem to have forgotten Motown's rich musical heritage. You can always get great Motown collections and reissues from the U.K. Thank you Spectrum keep up the great work."
