This new collection was inspired by folk music from Tartar (Tatar) elders as well as shaman medicine and sound healers in the region. For those new to Euro-Asian music - the "Land of the Tartars (Tatars)" was centrally located at the crossroads of trade between all cultures of the continents. It was a rest stop near the Silk Road. Genghis Khan also included this land in his empire.
