"Master P & the 504 Boyz provide a solid release with "Hurricane Katrina - We Gon' Bounce Back" (2005). Master P and the 504 boyz (Krazy, Yogi, Halleluyah, Jazzy, Playa, Rowdy, Tank Dog, Pop, Daddy-Q, Benji, Naughty, Lil D, Black and Silk the Shocker) give their take on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina on New Orleans. The opening track is the powerful "Them People", a track where the 504 Boyz talk about escaping the police. The next real standout for me is "That Work", P and the 504 Boyz deliver a dope anthem backed by an deadly beat. 504 and Master P talks about glife on "Streets Is Calling. "Real Talk" is just that a track that has them talking about the situation in New Orleans. A couple of average tracks follow then Lil D, Rowdy and Playa deliver another banger with "You Don't". The albums title track "Bounce Back" is outstanding, Master-P and Halleluyah shine on this one letting it be known that no Hurricanes going to take them out. My personal favorite though is "Mob Life", Master P puts mad heart into this cut, delivering some memorable verses, backed by an addictive beat. This album has some skip material for me (tracks that either sound to alike or lack in content/beats), the standout cuts though made it worth checking out. 3.5."
