"The number one best thing about this disc is that it opted to give us six or more minutes of EVERY track, many of which are near impossible to find on CD elsewhere. The dubby tribal opening track, unfortunately, would have sufficed with less than 2 minutes, in my opinion. It is a drawn out opening. Track 2 gives us some diva vocal. It has an uplifting filter feel, but still
feels like warm up for the real party. And the party does indeed start right after that, with a string of peak hour diva anthems by huge remixers, which takes us RIGHT THROUGH TO THE END, including Suzanne Palmer's cover of the Company B freestyle classic 'Fascinated', a cover of Britney's 'everytime'(there are dance mixes of her version, but licensing must have been too costly). These ladies are loaded with attitude and power pipes. As a small surprise, the disc closes with a male cover of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin.' This is definitely a very strong party mix volume for Masterbeat, as well as a great find for collectors of rare mixes. Track times:
1. that feeling (bring it back again) (D-formation mix)...DJ Chus (7:59)
2. Free (wayne G peachy funk mix)...E-volution (6:14)
3. Shout (norty cotto mix)...sisaundra (6:53)
4. Cliché (junior Vasquez mix)...simone denny (7:55)
5. Sunshine (tony moran & warren rigg mix)...jacinta (7:17)
6. Fascinated (offer nissim mix)...suzanne palmer (7:35)
7. First time(club mix)...offer nissim (6:40)
8. Out of my mind (tony moran & warren rigg mix)...sarah atereth (7:48)
9. Everytime (almighty mix)...funky g (7:19)
10. I'll be your light (wayne g mix)...kristine w (7:05)
11. don't stop believing (original club mix)...brian kent (6:43)"

"Another recent purchase that I found more appealing than appalling. The CD starts out with "That Feeling", which I liked; however, I don't think the fun really starts until cut 5 ("Sunshine"). After that, is the wonderfully done remake of Company B's "Fascinated", by Suzanne Palmer. Cut No. 7 ("First Time") was also rather enjoyable.
This CD will keep you dancing for a little while. Just be sure you're ready to run screaming from the room when the god-awful mix of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" comes on. This out-of-place-as-a-turd-in-a-punchbowl-cut is what stopped me from giving the CD a 5-star rating.
